What are Trapped Emotions

When we experience emotional pain, trauma, or chronic negative situations—such as abuse or loss—our subconscious mind naturally works to protect us by creating a barrier around the heart, known as a Heart Wall. This wall is a defense mechanism that helps us cope with overwhelming emotions, but while it serves as a form of emotional protection at the time, it also keeps us from fully experiencing life and connecting with others. As we move forward from these experiences, the Heart Wall remains in place unless consciously addressed, continuing to block our ability to give and receive love freely.

Typically, people have anywhere from 5 to 25 trapped emotions layered around their heart. What to expect from your Session

In your session, we will begin by exploring the specific issue you wish to address, whether it’s an emotional state like anxiety, a behavioral pattern you'd like to change, physical pain, or an emotional block you want to release. I will connect with your energy intentionally and, using muscle testing, confirm that the connection is made.

Once connected, I will use muscle testing to ask your subconscious if trapped emotions are contributing to the issue. I’ll then refer to a chart of emotions created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, which helps guide us to the specific trapped emotion responsible for the issue at hand. We may uncover additional information about the emotion, such as when it was trapped, who was involved, or whether it was absorbed or inherited.

The trapped emotion can then be released using focused intention and love, as well as by gently swiping a magnet over the governing meridian—an important energy pathway in the body, as described in acupuncture. This process helps restore balance and release any emotional blockages.

After your session, you may experience what’s known as “processing,” where your body releases the trapped emotions by reorganizing energy and restoring communication to previously blocked areas. This could manifest as feelings of tiredness, thirst, or emotional shifts, but some people may not experience anything at all. These effects typically pass within a day or two, and it’s recommended to stay well-hydrated during this period.

Once trapped emotions are cleared, your body can naturally begin to repair itself, aligning with its perfect energetic blueprint.
